Feed. Foster. Nourish. Chef Maggie Foster has done these three things her whole life.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Maggie began cooking at age 7. She would often wake early in the morning and “sneak” opportunities to practice in the family kitchen. Her parents would wake up to fully-finished entrées and desserts.
She would graduate from Dickinson College with a political science degree. Though it appeared a career in law beckoned her childhood interest in feeding others re-emerged. She would return home to Atlanta and later enroll at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. While enrolled, she completed an internship in Sorrento to refine her knowledge of Italian cuisine. After graduating in 2007, she honed her skills at Atlanta’s celebrated Canoe beginning in 2008. She accumulated over a decade of experience cooking with other talented chefs in one of Atlanta’s top fine dining establishments. Her hard work, attention to detail, and love of all types of cuisine earned her a promotion to Sous Chef. Chef Maggie also served as a private chef for patrons at The Masters and featured at the annual Afternoon in the Country at Serenbe.
Chef Maggie now brings her considerable culinary knowledge to your office lunch or special event. She started Maggie’s Table to share her love of food and to feed others cooking simple, yet refined, dishes that she enjoys herself. With her varied menus and extensive lists of sides and desserts, Chef Maggie cannot wait to work with you to create the perfect meal.
In her spare time, Chef Maggie enjoys cooking, eating at new restaurants, and watching sports (especially her beloved Atlanta United). She currently resides in Buckhead.
